If you've never used Bloomreach Engagement, that's fine. If you've never worked at an agency, that's fine. What matters is whether you have the meta-skills the work actually requires — structured thinking, ownership, judgment, taste — and whether you're hungry to go deep on technical marketing for eCommerce as your craft.

02 — What you'll actually do

The shape of your work will evolve as you grow. In the first 6–12 months, expect a mix of:

Working alongside our senior consultants on real client engagements with US and UK eCommerce brands ($25M–$2B revenue range)
Learning Bloomreach Engagement deeply — the platform that anchors most of our client work
Contributing to data infrastructure work in Google Cloud (BigQuery, Cloud Functions) as the projects require
Using Claude and the Anthropic suite as part of how the work actually gets done — research, analysis, writing, code, workflow orchestration
Taking ownership of progressively larger pieces of client work as your judgment develops
Co-creating internal frameworks, checklists, and ways of working that improve how Datacop operates

Over time, your role will shift from contributing under supervision to owning client relationships end-to-end — strategy, execution, and the trust-building that comes with it.

03 — What we're looking for
Structured thinking under ambiguity

You can take a vague problem and break it down. You don't freeze when the brief isn't clear — you sharpen it.

Demonstrated ownership

Somewhere in your background — current job, side project, previous role — you've taken responsibility for whether something worked, not just whether you did your part.

Strong written and spoken English

Most of our clients are in the US and UK. You'll be writing emails, leading meetings, and presenting strategy in English regularly.

Comfort with technical concepts

You don't need to be an engineer, but you should think clearly about data, systems, and how things connect. If "API" or "SQL" makes you uncomfortable, this probably isn't the right fit.

Genuine curiosity about eCommerce and marketing

This is where you'll spend the next several years going deep. The best Datacops are people who actually find this stuff interesting.

Native or near-native fluency with AI tools

Or hunger to get there fast. AI is how the work is done at Datacop, not a side experiment.

What we don't require: a marketing degree, agency experience, prior Bloomreach exposure, or a specific number of years in any role. We've hired people from strategy, engineering, product, and entirely unrelated fields.

€1,500–€1,900 / month gross — depending on skills and experience, with clear room to grow Standard employment contract (TPP) — a real employee, not a contractor on živnosť 30% profit share — for all Datacops past six months
